Summary of Project
The Pacific Highway, Lisarow to Ourimbah, is the main north-south link between the F3 Freeway and Gosford, and currently carries around 29,000 vehicles per day from regional and local areas.
The project, funded by the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS), includes widening the highway to provide two lanes in each direction to improve traffic flow and safety. The project includes the following key features: new traffic lights with pedestrian crossing facilities at the Ourimbah Street, Teralba Street and Walmsley Road intersections; a shared pedestrian and cycle path on the western side of the highway; and new bridges over Cut Rock Creek and widening of the highway to two lanes.
The upgrade will improve traffic flow and travel times for around 29,000 motorists travelling this 1.6 kilometre section of highway each day. It will also improve safety for motorists, pedestrians and road users.

Dreise Tucker ATOL Pty Ltd provided the detailed design of temporary traffic staging and pavements for extensive road alignment and a number of signalised intersections. In delivering the detailed engineering our team deployed highway engineering and pavement engineering services.
