Summary of Project

Originally constructed in the 1960’s, the Lands End Bridge is located on the northern end of the Gold Coast at Biggera Waters and provides a critical link along Marine Parade across the Biggera Creek. The old bridge was critically in need of repair with the project including the repair of concrete piers, headstocks, piles and abutments, strengthening and coating of structural steelwork including safety balustrades, and the removal and replacement walkway timber deck members.

Summary of Involvement

Dreise Tucker ATOL Pty Ltd carried out extensive dilapidation assessments of the existing bridge and roadway, as well as adjacent infrastructure. Our team also designed the remediation repair measures and certified to completed works.
